An interactive physics exhibit demonstrating magnetism through dancing paperclips. As a science museum exhibit manufacturer specializing in physics interactive exhibits and hands-on science exhibits, Zoomking designed this installation for children's museum exhibits, science center exhibits, and STEM education exhibits focused on experiential science education and visitor engagement.
Product Introduction:
The "Dancing Paperclip" is an interesting interactive science popularization exhibit with electromagnetic induction and the generation of magnetism by electricity as its core themes. This device is composed of electromagnetic coils, paper clips, speakers and control buttons, transforming the abstract principles of electromagnetism into a visual feast full of rhythm.
The paperclip in the exhibit was originally lying quietly on the platform. When the button is pressed, the electromagnetic coil is energized, generating a magnetic field. The paper clips are magnetized and attract each other, starting to "stand" up. Even more astonishingly, when music signals are input, the strength of the magnetic field changes with the rhythm of the music - the magnetic field intensifies when the drumbeats are strong and weakens when the melody is soothing. So, the paper clips began to "dance gracefully" to the rhythm of the music, sometimes gathering and sometimes scattering, as if they were a group of well-trained dancers.
